David, the sweet psalmist of Israel, penned the following words in Psalm 13:5-6, “But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” There are times in our lives when it seems as though we are being unfairly taken advantage of. During these times you also find that absolutely nothing can be done about it. That is the time to call upon the Lord and seek his counsel. This is the time that you just may find that God is working a work in your life to develop you for his plan. The critical matter is to allow the Lord to have his way in your life. Yes, there are times when we just have to say “YES LORD” and take what is coming to us. When God has a purpose in your life, his ways of developing us are past finding out. Psalm 25:12 says “What man is he that feareth the Lord? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.” Therefore, when offences come and you cannot control them, just say “YES LORD.” He has a purpose for your life.
